Single manual registers

This instrument has only two registers, both 8'; the lever and adjustable screws to the right of the picture allow the jack guides to be moved slightly, so that the plectra either miss or pluck the strings depending on what sound or combination of sounds is required. The jacks in this instrument were moulded plastic. Less authentic but easier to maintain. The jack rail shows the characteristic flecks of beechwood
