Learning pieces

I first started making crude jewellery in about 1985. Twisting copper wire with silver, bashing it, coiling silver wire, making basic shapes; pendants, ear-rings, bracelets. In this as in woodwork I am self-taught, although I had a half-hour phone lesson from Julia on how to solder. As a result of BOC's exorbitant charges for bottled oxygen I now use a refurbished medical oxygen concentrator mixed with propane, and a small torch
