Four poster without canopy, 2003

Oak from Duncan in Essex; Brazilian purpleheart and pink ivory spindles/balusters. Cornerposts turned in two parts, joined by metal studding; frame held by four captive bolts concealed behind dowels, to take it apart for moving. The end carving is antique, and came from the jumble room in Audrey Bowley's shop on the Fulham Road. I guess it will originally have sat on top of a mirror or picture frame
