Wooden keys

Rudimentary wooden keys which can lock the sliding lid. The small brass rod engages in a slot inside the case when turned through 90 degrees. The second knob on the lid is a dummy, and the second 'key' is a spare. The box is made of laburnum, and the interior tray of mahogany, resting on elm fillets
