First sounds

When an instrument is nearly done the anticipation of playing it for the first time is one of life's great pleasures. It's a pity the same cannot be said of the playing itself. Even when stringing, some time before the jacks are quilled and voiced, there is pleasure in plucking the strings by hand to see how they set the soundboard singing. This piece is Les Barricades Mysterieuses by Couperin.
