Judas tree bowl 2022

Tricky wood to turn, and probably needs to be turned green as it splits badly when drying; great contrast between heartwood and sapwood. The trees are very contorted. The base for this bowl is a smaller right-angled branch coming off the main trunk. Wood courtesy of Steve C
